The Houston Astros are in the driver's seat, leading the American League West over the Seattle Mariners by 1.5 games. Yet, it still does not feel like a safe lead. The team still has work to do, and the division title is certainly no guarantee, even after they made a small splash at the 2025 MLB trade deadline .
