Theft suspects jump over the counter at store | Federal Way police blotter

There were two vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Illegal discharge: At 2:19 a.m. in the 29000 block of 21st Place South, there was a report of an illegal discharge. Upon the officers’ arrival, they located several shell casings in the roadway. No injuries were reported, and no bullet defects were located on buildings or vehicles.

Armed robbery: At 7:49 a.m. in the 31000 block of Gateway Center Boulevard, there was a report of an armed robbery at a business. Upon investigation, probable cause was developed for first-degree robbery. The suspect was not located.

Stolen package: At 9:35 a.m. in the 100 block of South 340th Street, there was a report that an Amazon package was stolen that contained a new HP laptop. No surveillance and no suspect
