The New York State Department of Civil Service has released an application for a New York entry-level civil service exam in August.

Open-competitive exams are an opportunity to start a career with New York state. These tests are open to anyone who meets the qualifications listed on the examination announcement.

The application period is open for Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services Program Administrator 2 until Sept. 3.

In this career, you would serve as primary contact for a unit within a disaster recovery section.
