A San Bruno woman is suspected of attempting to pepper spray a security guard and ramming her car into a police cruiser in San Mateo, police said Thursday.
On Wednesday, just after 3:30 a.m., police received a report of a suspicious vehicle and driver who was refusing to leave a private parking lot on Bovet Road in San Mateo.
Police allege that Liliana Tafollaromero, 31, tried to pepper spray a security guard but was unsuccessful, then began to drive away but returned to the parking lot and attempted to strike the guard with her vehicle.
Officers arrived and made contact with Tafollaromero, but she allegedly refused to get out of her car. She then allegedly put it in reverse and rammed a police patrol car. No officers were injured, police said, but the patrol car received minor damage.
