A promising young football player named Kaleb Hill has sadly passed away just a day after his junior varsity physical.

The 15-year-old, a student at Montgomery High School, was getting ready for his first season with the school’s JV team when he suddenly died.

According to his family, he showed signs of dehydration while practicing at home and collapsed moments after. Emergency responders were summoned to the residence but were unable to revive the teenager.

It’s since been determined that he had an undiagnosed heart condition, which was not detected during a sports physical he had just undergone.

His family said his salt levels were elevated before he passed, and they are ruing the fact that nothing showed up on his tests.
