A glass door was smashed when burglars broke into the Hollywood home of actor Jennifer Freeman, according to Los Angeles police.

The break-in was reported just before 9 p.m. Thursday when officers responded to a call about a possible burglary, the LAPD told NBC4 Investigates. Police found a rear glass door was shattered.

Nobody was home at the time of the break-in, police said.

Officers searched the home, but the intruders were already gone, taking jewelry and other items with them, the LAPD said.
