FARGO — Court documents are shedding light on a Fargo apartment murder and its connection to other shootings, including a downtown one that killed one and injured two others.
C'Aundre Corvai Douglas, 20, of Jamestown, appeared Friday, Aug. 8, in Cass County District Court on charges of murder and aggravated assault for the early Sunday shooting death of 20-year-old Elijah Hughes. He also faces an array of other charges for two shootings last month.
If convicted, he faces life in prison.
Police found Hughes dead shortly before 2:30 a.m. Sunday at Westwood Estates, an apartment complex at 4702 16th Ave. S. Bullet casings found at the scene matched other 10 mm casings found at two other shootings in Fargo in which Douglas is a suspect, according to court documents.
