Fargo is at a critical juncture, and leadership matters more than ever.
We woke up on Sunday to learn about a deadly overnight mass shooting in downtown Fargo and a related murder across town a half-hour later. Two people died and two others were injured, one critically.
We also learned Wednesday about another potentially deadly assault that happened an hour later and a few blocks north of the deadly downtown shootout.
Some of these suspects are still on the loose.
The weekend events have had most people in the region asking, “Is Fargo still safe?”
