Arizona-based homebuilder Meritage Homes has paid an undisclosed sum for 2,451 lots covering 1,030 acres in Davidson, Maury, Rutherford and Williamson counties.

According to a release, Bucky Ingram, founder of Brentwood-based Willow Branch Homes, was the seller in the transaction, for which the Post was unable to determine an acquisition price.

The general Nashville market offers Meritage the highest absorption rate in its portfolio, the release notes.

The purchase comes after Meritage acquired Mississippi Gulf Coast builder Elliott Homes in late 2024.

Headquartered in Scottsdale, Meritage is a publicly traded company that bills itself as the fifth-largest public homebuilder in the U.S.
