BEAUFORT, S.C. (WSAV) -- A suspicious package discovered in a Beaufort parking lot caused concern Friday.

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) was called to the scene to inspect the package.

After investigating, BCSO cleared the area and announced there was no threat to the public.
