The American Heart Association has recognized 158 hospitals with a newly established “Commitment to Quality” award. The award honors hospitals that achieved silver level or higher in at least three of the AHA’s Get with the Guidelines programs for 2025, according to a July 29 news release from the association.
Get with the Guidelines programs include clinical care recommendations for stroke, heart failure, resuscitation, coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation, heart attack and cardiac arrest. Participating hospitals are able to earn guideline adherence awards ranging from bronze to gold plus status, the release said.
