CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The University of Virginia Student Council passed a resolution declaring no confidence in the University of Virginia Board of Visitors on Friday night.

The resolution faults the BOV for failing to protect UVA from the outside interference that led to President Jim Ryan's resignation, and expresses disappointment in the subsequent presidential search process for lacking "transparency, sufficient student representation and accountability measures."
