Grey Bruce OPP have charged a man after an incident involving a knife.

Police say, on Wednesday, August 6th officers responded to a disturbance involving two people at one of the national parks on the Bruce Peninsula.

They say a bystander saw a man damaging public property and intervened, asking him to stop.

According to OPP, a brief physical altercation ensued, and the accused allegedly brandished a knife and threatened the bystander.

No serious injuries were reported.

A 20 year old Mississauga man has been charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The accused was taken into custody and later released. He is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on September 4, 2025.
