BEAUMONT, Texas — St. Anne Catholic School began classes Friday with a fully renovated library welcoming students for the first time and 75 new students joining the campus, marking significant growth and facility improvements for the Catholic Diocese of Beaumont institution.

The school completed a two-year library renovation project funded through a GAP grant and donations, creating what Library Manager Hayley Reeves described as "a brighter and more colorful space." Students will experience the updated facility for a full academic year following its spring opening.

Principal Alison Kiker reported that 56 new families have enrolled 75 new students at the school. "We're excited that our kids are coming back. We've missed them. This campus is a pretty lonely place without them," Kiker sa
