KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Former Knox County Trustee staff member Jason Dobbins has been indicted on two counts of official misconduct, according to court records obtained by WVLT News. He’s the second trustee employee to be indicted this week as the state investigates the office.

Dobbins, along with Knox County Property Assessor William Ballard are facing official misconduct charges. Both cases are connected to allegations that the trustee’s office was misusing taxpayer dollars.

Justin Biggs, the trustee himself, avoided an indictment himself Friday. He was the one who fired Dobbins.
