TOWN OF TRENTON, Wis. -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office on Friday identified a man and woman who were involved in a crash in the Town of Trenton Thursday morning.

The crash was reported just before 6 a.m. along County Highway A north of Breezy Point Road. A 2011 BMW Alpina crossed the center line and collided with a northbound 2017 Kia Sorento.

The BMW driver was identified as 46-year-old Christopher Roll of Portage. He was flown from the scene to Aurora Summit Hospital by UW Med Flight and was still in critical condition as of Friday.

The Kia driver, 35-year-old Samantha Pavelka of Beaver Dam, was taken to Marshfield Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and later died.

The crash remains under investigation.
