The secretary general of the Bolivarian Cement Federation, José Vale, stated this Friday that the cement industry is committed, together with its workers, to guaranteeing the production of this material, which is a fundamental part of construction.

He said that thanks to the partnerships implemented by the Bolivarian Government, plans are underway to increase total cement production capacity by 80%, a project that has been carried out through partnerships between the public and private sectors.

He added that the cement industry will ensure demand within the country and then advance its exports, generating foreign currency inflows to meet the needs of the population and obtaining resources for reinventing the industry to maintain sustainability and profitability.
