ATLANTA — The frontman for the Atlanta-based group Silly Goose was arrested in Chicago two days after the band performed at Lollapalooza. Now, the band is raising money to hire a lawyer.
Jackson Foster faces trespassing charges after playing a pop-up show atop a van at a BP gas station downtown, a stunt meant to promote the band’s latest album, " Keys to the City . "
In a GoFundMe appeal, Foster said the band paid the manager of the gas station $100 to perform a one-hour show on top of their van in front of one of the gasoline pumps.
The BP is located just a few blocks west of Grant Park, where Lolla is held every August in Chicago.
"All of a sudden, the cops showed up, and that didn’t seem to matter," Jackson said on GoFundMe. "Nobody got hurt, we were just playing music, and wh
