A traffic stop of a red Ducati motorcycle with no license plate led Kenai police to uncover two stolen motorcycles, drugs, and multiple firearms at a Kenai residence — resulting in the arrest of two people on August 5.

According to a sworn affidavit by Kenai Police Officer Levi Russell, the investigation began on the night of July 30 when Russell saw a Ducati turn onto Kaknu Way without displaying plates. After pulling the motorcycle over in the driveway of 1014 Kaknu Way, Russell identified the rider as 43-year-old Eric Graham.

Russell reported the Ducati’s ignition was punched out, and a check of its VIN showed it had been reported stolen to the Homer Police Department in January. Graham, who was carrying a modified flat-blade screwdriver capable of starting the motorcycle, claimed he
