U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. visited the Dena’ina Wellness Center and met with the Kenaitze Indian Tribe tribal leaders in Kenai on Thursday, Aug. 7, his latest visit part of a broader tour across Alaska, where Kennedy is meeting with Native Tribes to hear their concerns. They discussed several topics, including Medicaid, food security, tribal court, and worries over fisheries, followed by a concise press conference.

Kennedy recently visited Anchorage and Fairbanks before coming to the Kenai Peninsula, where he visited the Kenaitze Indian Tribe to listen to tribal concerns and build relationships.
