BIG RAPIDS — The Band of Locals will host the 57th annual Labor Day Arts & Crafts Festival in downtown Big Rapids on Monday, Sept. 1, with a full slate of family-friendly activities and a car show presented in partnership with the River Valley Car Club.

The Arts & Crafts show will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., while the car show will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Car show registration will be open from 9 to 11 a.m. the day of the event.

“The Band of Locals’ mission is: Local businesses BANDING together in support of each other and their communities,” said Lisa David, Band of Locals board president. “This event brings that all together.”

New to the festival this year are a Kids’ Zone and a performance by Jake Slater, an Elvis tribute artist.
