PENNSYLVANIA (WTAJ) — A new report from the Pennsylvania Courts shows that in the last five years, over 22,000 citations were filed for violations in a school zone, but which Central Pennsylvania county had the highest number of citations filed?

In total, from Jan. 1, 2020, to Dec. 31, 2024, 14,920 citations were filed for speeding in a school zone, and 7,582 were filed for overtaking or illegally passing a school bus. That makes the total number of citations 22,502, and 53% of all violations were committed by males.
