(FOX40.COM) — The man convicted of killing an Inderkum High School football coach in 2022 was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison on Friday.
Tahje Michael fatally shot Greg “Najee” Grimes around 2 a.m. on July 4, 2022, as he left a nightclub near 15th and L streets in Sacramento.

Four other men were also shot but survived.
Michael was arrested in February 2024, just a few weeks after the case was featured on "America's Most Wanted."
Before coaching at Inderkum, Grimes played football there as a student and played for Boise State in college.
