SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Firefighters are tackling a vegetation fire burning in the southeastern portion of San Diego County near the U.S.-Mexico Border.
According to Cal Fire/San Diego County Fire, the blaze, dubbed the Roadrunner Fire, was reported Friday before noon near Roadrunner Lane and Moonlit Trail in the census-designated place of Boulevard, east of Campo.
It burned an estimated 10 acres as of 11:50 a.m. with a moderate rate of spread. Authorities said there was an "immediate structure threat."
An update on the Cal Fire incident map showed the fire had grown to at least 25 acres around 12:05 p.m.
