The new Nordstrom Rack has set an opening date in the Prasada North shopping center.

Shoppers can get an early peak at a pre-opening party on Tuesday, Aug. 20.

The officials grand opening celebration is set for Tuesday, Sept. 2.

The 26,000-square-foot store will be located in the same shopping center that includes Target and Starbucks.

The Surprise location expands the company’s physical footprint and economic impact in Arizona. It currently operates one Nordstrom store and 11 Nordstrom Rack stores in Arizona, generating approximately 1,295 jobs statewide.
