A school district in Maryland is the subject of a federal investigation following complaints of antisemitism and “egregious and persistent discrimination” by one of its teachers.

The teacher at Baltimore City Public Schools (BCPS) is accused of threatening to “go all Nazi” on a Jewish student.

The teacher is also accused of telling other classmates that “all Jews should die,” as well as making “personally directed Nazi salutes towards a Jewish student,” according to the complaint filed Thursday with the department’s Office of Civil Rights, the New York Post reported.

The U.S. Department of Education has since launched a Title VI probe after receiving evidence that Baltimore schools tolerated pervasive harassment of Jewish kids, which is in violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
