EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — A 30-year-old Evansville man was arrested Friday in connection with a road rage incident.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office says it started around 7:20 a.m. in the area of Highway 41 and Morgan Avenue.

A victim told deputies they were driving in the area when they pulled in front of the suspect, who was identified by authorities as Zachary Gibson.

The victim said that's when Gibson started honking his horn, flashing his headlights, and tailgating them.

During the encounter, the victim said Gibson also pulled a gun on them.

Deputies found Gibson driving on Highway 41 and stopped him near Inglefield Road. A firearm was recovered from the vehicle, and Gibson was taken into custody.
