VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — A motorcyclist from Ohio was taken into custody following a high-speed chase with police that concluded in a construction zone.

Authorities say the incident happened on Friday afternoon on the Lloyd Expressway.

An Indiana State Police trooper saw the motorcyclist exceeding speeds of 80 miles per hour and tried to pull him over.

The motorcyclist continued driving, maneuvering between vehicles, before being stopped by construction traffic on the Lloyd Expressway just west of Burkhardt Road.

The rider, identified as 35-year-old Cameron Stark from Grove City, Ohio, is now in the Vanderburgh County Jail. He faces charges including resisting law enforcement and reckless driving.
