Margaret Masters and Rene Delafranier are back where they belong.

The couple recently reopened Rene’s Bistro at the same Wellington Street location where it became a Stratford staple from 2008 to 2019, and it’s like they never left.

“It definitely feels like home,” said Delafranier, the restaurant’s chef. “It’s a good size and good location.”

The kitchen set-up is the same as it was for 11 years, and Masters didn’t take long getting front of house duties in order.

“The flow is really good, and it works well,” Delafranier said.
