The Brandon Police Service extended their thoughts to the family and loved ones affected by the sudden loss of a 35-year-old local Brandon man.

On August 7, 2025, at approximately 11:26 AM, officers responded to a report of a deceased individual located in the yard of a residence in the 600 block of 9th Street. Upon arrival, the circumstances and injuries observed led officers to treat the death as suspicious.

The deceased has been identified as a 35-year-old male. His identity is not being released at this time.

The investigation is ongoing and is being led by the BPS Major Crimes Section. An autopsy has been ordered to assist in determining the cause of death.
