FARGO — Downed power lines caused traffic snarls for eastbound drivers Friday, Aug. 8, along Interstate 94 in Fargo.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, eastbound traffic was diverted Friday afternoon to Exit 351, University Drive, south to 52nd Street South, and across the bridge there to Minnesota. All eastbound traffic was closed at that time.

According to Pulsepoint, a website which tracks calls for first responders, the Fargo Fire Department was called to the scene at 1:12 p.m. and were cleared from the scene at 2:18 p.m. By 2:25 p.m., the Highway Patrol had updated a post on its Facebook page to inform drivers the eastbound lanes had reopened.
