Cal Fire San Diego is at the scene of a brush fire near Jacumba Hot Springs that has sparked as San Diego County is experiencing some hot temperatures.
Cal Fire was responding to an area near the U.S. Border Patrol substation in Boulevard, about 10 miles east of Jacumba Hot Springs. The fire was reported at around 11:21 a.m. near Roadrunner Lane and Moonlit Trail.
Cal Fire said the fire has a moderate rate of spread with an immediate structure threat.
At noon, Cal Fire reported the fire at 25 acres with 0% containment.
