MADISON, Wis. — Alliant Energy and the Alliant Energy Foundation have awarded over $530,000 in their second Community Grant cycle of the year, benefiting various causes and nonprofits across Iowa and Wisconsin. This brings their total contributions in 2025 to nearly $1.3 million, with one more grant cycle left for the year. The grants support initiatives in four focus areas: community safety and engagement, environmental stewardship, workforce readiness, and hunger and housing. Alliant Energy says: - For community safety and engagement, nearly $46,000 in grants were distributed to 25 communities, aiding first response organizations like police and fire departments in acquiring new or upgraded equipment.
