Two arrested and charged for drug trafficking in North Bay

The North Bay Police Service Street Crime Unit has arrested two individuals in connection with an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

On July 31, 2025, at 10:34 a.m., officers arrested the accused and co-accused without incident. The arrests were the result of an investigation that revealed they were actively trafficking controlled substances and travelling from the Greater Toronto Area to North Bay with illicit drugs intended for sale. During the investigation, both individuals were observed engaging in alleged illegal activities before being taken into custody.

Subsequent searches led to the seizure of the following items:$5,225 in Canadian currency, Controlled substances with an estimated street value of $8,980, including: 27.5 grams of cocaine, 36.1 grams of crystal methamphetami
