JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) -- A United Airlines system outage that disrupted flights nationwide Wednesday also indirectly impacted one lone Johnstown-bound flight, airport officials confirmed Thursday.
The system outage affected more than 1,000 United Airlines flights around the country was not the same system that SkyWest Airlines' United Express flights out of Johnstown use, according to our media partners at The Tribune-Democrat.
The delays caused by the outage had a more indirect impact as a flight out of Chicago O'Hare International Airport was bound for John Murtha Johnstown-Cambria County Airport Wednesday night. The flight was delayed a little more than an hour.
