JACKSON, Mich. (WILX) - Police are asking the community to help locate the suspect in the murder of a Jackson teen.

In a press release, the Jackson County Prosecutors’ Office and the Jackson Police Department said that Antonio Green has been charged with multiple counts, including the murder of 18-year-old Mia Sims.

Sims was shot in the neck on July 27 in the 1500 block of Carl Breeding Way.

Sims was transported to the hospital, where she would later die from her injuries.

The prosecutor’s office and the police department are asking for the public’s help in finding Green.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the City of Jackson detectives at 517-768-6432.
