KANSAS CITY — A traffic stop in the Kansas City area Wednesday led to the recovery of 13 pounds of methamphetamine and federal charges for two women.

The Western District of Missouri says Brittney N. Stanley and Christina L.M. Davis, both 32, were charged Thursday in federal court with possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.

Stanley is also charged with possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug crime. In addition to the drugs three handguns, one of which was loaded, were allegedly found in the vehicle.
