Minnesota United return to regular season action on Sunday, hosting the Colorado Rapids in one of the final nine games left in the 2025 season. Despite getting bounced from Leagues Cup action on Wednesday, the Loons still have plenty at stake as the season hit its final stretch. Last season, the Loons came out of the Leagues Cup break and went on a tear, winning six of their last nine games, on their way to returning to the MLS Cup playoffs after missing out in 2023. Unlike last season though, this Loons squad isn’t battling for just a chance to make the playoffs.
