SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Angela Bino and her daughter were accused of stabbing a family member to death at a Sioux City apartment. The daughter has already received a guilty verdict, and now Angela has received one as well.

Angela was in court on Friday, Aug. 8, where a judge found her guilty of the first-degree murder of Suzette Occhibone, her mother. Under Iowa law, those convicted of this charge face a mandatory sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Angela and her daughter Jessica Bino lived at a Virginia Street apartment with the pair’s mother and grandmother, Occhibone. On Oct. 26, 2023, authorities say the three of them got into an argument while at the apartment. According to prosecutors, this argument is what led to Occhibone being stabbed to death.
