Nevada’s Attorney general joins a national push to pressure dozens of voice providers to comply with federal robocall rules.

Nevada Attorney General Aaron D. Ford announced the launch of Operation Robocall Roundup, a multistate initiative aimed at curbing illegal robocalls nationwide.

The campaign, part of the Anti-Robocall Litigation Task Force, includes Ford and 50 other bipartisan attorneys general.

As part of the operation, the task force has issued warning letters to 37 voice service providers, demanding immediate compliance with federal rules intended to block illegal robocalls.

According to the attorney general's office, these companies have either failed to respond to federal traceback requests, have not registered in the Federal Communications Commission’s Robocall Mitigation
