Authorities ID woman found dead in Inglewood neighborhood

INGLEWOOD – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office has identified a woman found dead in an Inglewood neighborhood on July 24.

Residents in North Inglewood used the NextDoor social media app to alert their neighbors about a woman found unresponsive inside a parked vehicle in the 600 block of Exton Ave. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel pronounced her deceased at the scene at 11:44 a.m.

She was identified this week as 39-year-old Toccara Anderson, and her cause of death was natural.

The medical examiner determined her primary cause of death was a pulmonary embolism. Deep vein thrombosis of the lower extremities and uterine fibroids were also listed as contributing factors.
