DENVER (KDVR) -- The Weld County Sheriff's Office said it found several trash bags filled with "suspected marijuana" in the area of Weld County Road 20 and Colorado Boulevard.

WCSO, which did not specify when the bags were found, said it was dispatched to the area after a call regarding suspected drug-related activity, with the reporting party advising that they found several trash bags containing "suspected marijuana."

An arriving deputy found several trash bags along Weld County Road 20 that were filled with "suspected marijuana plant stems and some buds and leaves," said the sheriff's office.

The investigating deputy later determined the weight of the suspected marijuana was more than 4 pounds, according to WCSO, which said no evidence was found of who may have dumped the bags along
