MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Morgan Geyser, one of two people convicted in the Slender Man stabbing, will no longer move to a Sun Prairie facility.

In a letter from Geyser’s attorney, it stated that the facility declines to take her as patient due to the “publicity surrounding the placement.”

Geyser, alongside her friend Anissa Weier, stabbed their classmate Payton Leutner multiple times in Waukesha in 2014.

WMTV spoke with residents in Sun Prairie who said they were scared to have Geyser living in the same city.

“The community, that I know of, is extremely concerned because, you know, she was a kid when she planned a premeditated, cold calculated murder,” said Gabrielle Alturk, who has lived in Sun Prairie for 8 years with her son.
