Daytime shootout near Staten Island playground lands both gunmen in prison: Court docs

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— Two men who were charged in a shootout last year near a Clifton playground have each pleaded guilty to resolve their cases in state Supreme Court, St. George.

Malachi Emory, 18, of Park Hill Avenue, was sentenced July 2 to one year in jail, after pleading guilty to second-degree attempted criminal possession in connection with the Dec. 12 incident.
