The Jets, under new coach Aaron Glenn, are spending a lot of time focused on the physicality of football.
They’ve added multiple sessions of live tackling to training camp despite the injury risks. As practices have gotten longer, Glenn has filled the time with move-the-ball team drill periods because it most closely replicates the actual game. And Glenn will send his starters out field for at least some of Saturday’s preseason opener against in Green Bay, while most other teams will not expose their best players to that danger early in this preseason.
