STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Several New York City streets will be closed once again this weekend to allow for the second week of Summer Streets , a New York City Department of Transportation open streets initiative.

In addition to the expansive event, a marathon through Harlem and a Staten Island triathlon/duathlon will contribute to road closures throughout the city.

These closures could result in detours and potentially some traffic for those navigating city roadways on Saturday and Sunday.

According to an advisory from the NYPD, the closures will be at the discretion of the NYPD.

Centre Street/Federal Plaza between Brooklyn Exit and Worth Street

Lafayette Street between Worth Street and 4th Av
