Two 29-year-old men have been charged for a break-in at the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre in Chilliwack.

Chilliwack RCMP said a specialized team of officers arrested Branden Gambles and Richard Jonathan Wells July 31, after an investigation identified them as people of interest in the break and enter that took place July 29. They were held in custody until their the appearance in court on Aug. 1 and each have been charged with one count of break and enter.

“Chilliwack RCMP Priority Target Teams (PTT) primary focus is on prolific offenders who prey on every corner of society and cause the most harm to the community through property and violent crime," said PTT Sgt.
