URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) -- A section of South Grove Street in Urbana is set to close on Monday for scheduled utility work.

The street will be blocked off to all through traffic between East Washington Avenue and East Oregon Avenue. Closures will begin on Aug. 11 at 6 a.m., and the roads are expected to be re-opened by Aug. 13 at 5 p.m.

This street closure is being put into effect as Illinois American Water contractors are set to perform utility work in the area. During the project, access will be maintained to all properties along South Grove Street.
