While Girl Guides of Canada has joined a growing list of organizations restricting U.S. travel plans, Scouts Canada says it is not yet following suit.
In a statement, Scouts Canada said it continues to monitor the situation at U.S. border crossings, but “has not paused travel to the United States.”
The organization, however, said it is encouraging its members “to exercise caution and plan thoughtfully” before any cross-border trips are made.
Girl Guides of Canada announced this week any trips to the U.S. were being indefinitely suspended starting in September, due to concerns about heightened border restrictions.
