NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A 45-year-old man was killed after being struck in a parking lot off Ashley Phosphate Road, according to the Charleston County Coroner’s Office.
Everson Rodrigues, of Charleston, died on the scene at 2516 Ashley Phosphate Road around 6:30 a.m. after being struck.
Officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded to the scene and found Mr. Rodrigues unresponsive.
The driver of the vehicle that struck Mr. Rodrigues stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police, according to the department.
